With a traffic light marking the customer could immediately tell which products are healthy and which are less healthy. The system has four different nutritional values, namely, fat, saturated fat, sugar and salt. Often even the calorie content is on the packaging. The color red means that the food has a very high content of one or more of these ingredients. The color is yellow for a medium and green for a low content of that ingredient. For each color there are specific nutrient limits. There is red mark it, for example, contained 20 grams of fat per 100 grams for added sugars and from 12.5 grams per 100 grams, the classification applies only to packaged food. Staples such as loose fruit and vegetables, bread and water are not affected.
